Dominique Duchesne holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa. Since 2020, he has also been a Certified Director. Accumulating numerous experiences in the field of business project execution since 1990, he is a sought-after business strategy advisor. During his career, he was also co-owner of seven SMEs specializing in consulting services, technology and real estate. In 2018, Dominique co-founded Positive Degree in order to increase edge computing capacities worldwide, while reducing its environmental impact.

Simon Duchesne holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the Royal Military College of Canada, a Master's degree in Medical Physics and a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University, and is a Certified Director since 2021. After a post-doctoral internship in France, he joined Laval University where he is now a Full Professor in the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and Assistant Director of the Research Center on Big Data. An accomplished academic researcher, his expertise is firmly rooted in data science and artificial intelligence, fields in which he has been navigating for more than 20 years. Simon participated in the implementation of several computing and data warehousing infrastructures and co-founded two start-ups before starting Positive Degree. It is in the shower, rather than the Archimedean bath, where Simon had his Eureka moment, and saw the untapped potential for delivering significant computing capacity at the edge with minimal environmental impact.
